ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi! My name is Sam Foreman. I’m the owner of Westside Art Studio, here in Longmont, Colorado.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I started my career as an artist in high school thanks to an awesome art teacher. Here is where I began training in ceramics and first starting to experiment with glass.
After studying a wide range of studio arts at Lycoming College, where I expanded my skills and practiced different mediums including ceramics, printmaking, photography and painting. In 2010, I returned to Pittsburgh and stepped foot into the Pittsburgh Glass Center to take a beginner glass blowing class. My life was changed and I never looked back.
In 2019, Stacia and I moved together to Boulder, Colorado. It was always a dream to live there and have a glass studio. Fast forward to 2025, Stacia and I are now married with two awesome studio dogs, Maisy & Minka. We have a house with a perfect little glass and pottery studio, with the goal of sharing art with the community and creating unique works of art .
When I’m not in the art studio, I enjoy all Colorado has to offer from mountain biking, hiking with Stacia and the dogs, and snowboarding during the winter months.
